Ippei Akiyoshi

Ippei Akiyoshi is currently serving as Deputy General Manager of Business Incubation in the Mineral Resources Group at Mitsubishi Corporation, a position held since November 2024, where responsibilities include representing the group in corporate venture capital. Akiyoshi has extensive experience in business development and investment management within the mineral resources sector, having previously worked as Director of Business Development at Jetti Resources and held various board observer roles at companies such as MineSense Technologies Ltd. and CiDRA. Akiyoshi's tenure at Mitsubishi Corporation also includes roles as Investment Manager and Manager in the Mineral Resources Investment Division, focusing on sourcing innovative technologies and managing a significant copper mine assets portfolio. Akiyoshi started the career as an Analyst in Base Metals at Mitsubishi Corporation and later gained international experience through a professional exchange program in Peru. Akiyoshi holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Aoyama Gakuin University.
