Bingnan Wang

Bingnan Wang is a Senior Principal Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories since September 2009, where applied research in electromagnetics and photonics is conducted, focusing on device design, numerical analysis, and prototype system development. Significant projects include wireless power transfer, wireless sensors, and photonic integrated circuit component design. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Ames Laboratory, utilizing skills in wave propagation and the design of electromagnetic and photonic materials from May 2005 to September 2009, and as a Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University from January 2004 to May 2005. Bingnan Wang earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Iowa State University in 2009 and a B.S. in Physics from Fudan University in 2003.
