Suhas Lohit

Suhas Lohit is a Principal Research Scientist at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories since January 2020, with previous roles as a Research Scientist and Visiting Research Scientist. Prior to this, Suhas worked as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University from August 2014 to December 2019, and completed research internships at MERL, SRI International, and NVIDIA. Suhas has developed innovative algorithms for hyperspectral image fusion and conducted projects involving multimodal web data, automated video surveillance, and image enhancement. Suhas holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, with a focus on Computer Vision and Deep Learning, as well as a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering.
