Sarang Bapat

Sarang Bapat is an experienced professional with a strong background in data governance and management. Currently serving as the Director of Data Governance at Mitsubishi Electric Trane US since August 2022, Sarang has held several leadership roles in prominent organizations, including Senior Vice President of Enterprise Data Management at SunTrust and Data Strategy Leader at USAA. Prior experience includes positions at Wachovia-Wells Fargo as Assistant Vice President, and as Engagement Manager at i-Vantage, where Sarang successfully established a substantial resource base in India for ADP. Earlier career milestones include roles as Principal Consultant at First Union Bank and Senior Developer at US Airways. Sarang holds an MBA in Management Strategy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology.
