Wendy Barba has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries. Wendy began their career as a Staff Writer and Reporter at Daily Sundial, where they covered various topics and even created a pop culture blog focused on Latino influences. Wendy then worked as an Executive Assistant at JP Tech Insurance Services before joining Herbalife as a Copy Editor and Translator. At Herbalife, they revised and translated corporate communications assets while ensuring compliance with branding and style guides. Wendy went on to work as a Communications Coordinator at NOVICA United, Inc., where they launched the company's first blog and produced documentary-style videos. Wendy then joined Whalerock Industries as an Online Bilingual Editor, where they produced and edited original content in English and Spanish, managed social media networks, and conducted celebrity interviews. Currently, Wendy holds several roles at mitú, including Vice President of mitú Brands, Editor In Chief, Executive Director (FIERCE by mitú), and Senior Content Editor.
Wendy Barba completed their Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, with a minor in Spanish Language Journalism, from California State University, Northridge. Wendy attended the university from 2004 to 2010.
