Don McLagan is a retired entrepreneur and poet with a distinguished career in technology and leadership. After retiring in 2008, McLagan served as a board member for MITX and was a parent representative at Lawrence Academy. Prior to retirement, McLagan held significant positions, including Chairman, President, and CEO of Compete, Inc., and similar roles at NewsEdge Corporation and Data Resources, Inc. Notably, McLagan was also Vice President and General Manager of the Information Services Division at Lotus Development Corporation, which included overseeing the transition of Signal and Quotrek into Data Broadcasting Corporation. Early in the career, McLagan worked as Director of Advanced Computer Techniques for the U.S. Department of Defense. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and engineering degrees from Trinity College-Hartford.
