Jen Madsen

Jen Madsen has over 20 years of experience in the supply chain and procurement industry. In 2021, they began working as a Material Control Manager for MIVI Neuroscience, Inc. Prior to this, they were the Founder of Stitch Simple from 2008 to 2021, where they owned, managed and performed all business operation activities for an online fabric boutique and textile distributor. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Supply Chain Manager and Procurement for Minntech Corporation, where they oversaw procurement of $33M of chemicals, packaging and machine parts annually. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Buyer/Planner for Guidant Corporation, managing $4.5M of medical grade fine wire and cable purchases annually. From 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Supply Chain Manager for Cargill (Sunny Fresh Foods), managing the supply chain of a primary strategic customer account that represented over 50% of business unit revenues. During their time there, they reduced the number of days ingredients and packaging materials held in inventory, resulting in savings of $868K in inventory investment cost. Jen also identified, developed and negotiated relationships with Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) suppliers to meet requirements of key customers.

Jen Madsen completed their MBA in Supply Chain and Operations from the University of Minnesota in 2006. Jen previously obtained their B.A. in Anthropology from The George Washington University between 1995 and 1998.
