Srikar Bhagavatula

Director, Analog Engineering at Mixed-Signal Devices

Srikar Bhagavatula has a wealth of experience in engineering, having worked in the field since 2005. Srikar began their career as an Intern at Texas Instruments, India in 2005. In 2006, they moved to Cypress Semiconductors as an Electrical Design Engineer. In 2008, they worked as an RF Circuit Design Engineer at IHP Microelectronics, where they researched and designed a 1.5Gs/s radiation hard DAC with automatic calibration and implementation of multiple encoding techniques. In 2009, they began their PhD studies at Purdue University, where they also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Research Assistant. In 2013, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Qualcomm. In 2014, they moved to Entropic Communications as a Senior Analog Design Engineer. In 2015, they joined MaxLinear as a Staff RF/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer, where they worked on PLL architecture and design for high performance RF systems, as well as analog circuits including DACs, amplifiers and drivers. In 2017, they moved to maxlinear inc as a Senior Staff RF/Mixed Signal Design Engineer. Finally, in 2018, they joined Mixed-Signal Devices Inc as the Director of Analog Engineering and Analog Design Manager.

Srikar Bhagavatula earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, between 2002 and 2006. Srikar then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, which they completed in 2015.
