Eva Kandarpa Behrend

Eva Kandarpa Behrend is an experienced communications leader currently serving as VP of Communications at VAST since June 2024, while also advising at UNICORN and participating as a community member with Mixing Board. Previously, Eva held notable positions including VP of Communications at Chime, where responsibilities included leading internal and external communication strategies, and VP of Global Communications at Gopuff, managing a global team across multiple countries. Additional experience includes roles at Quibi, SpaceX, and Uber, where contributions spanned crisis communications, corporate communications, and public affairs. Eva began a communications career as Communications Director for Councilwoman Jan Perry in Los Angeles. Eva holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Communications from the University of Southern California.
