McKinley Tretler

McKinley Tretler is a communications and public relations expert with extensive experience in both non-profit and community-focused organizations. Currently serving as a community member at Mixing Board since October 2024, Tretler previously contributed to the Hollywood Climate Summit as an advisory board member from May 2023 to May 2025. As the Director of Public Relations at Malala Fund from October 2015 to December 2024, Tretler developed global messaging strategies, managed media relations, and collaborated with high-profile individuals including Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai. Early career roles included positions as a communications intern at Discovery Communications, GW Athletics, and Girl Rising, following a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Women's Studies from The George Washington University.
