Ryan Scannell currently serves as the Supplier Quality Manager at Mizkan America, overseeing quality programs for a diverse range of ingredient and packaging suppliers. Prior to this role, Ryan worked at Sargento Foods Inc. as Supply Quality Manager, ensuring the safety and quality of vendor-supplied materials through hazard and risk analyses. Additional experience includes positions as Technology Principal Scientist and Senior Food Scientist at Sargento, where Ryan managed long-term innovation projects and product development for frozen food lines. Earlier experience includes a role as Brewing Manager at Anheuser-Busch InBev, managing the beer production process, and as Technical Services Engineer at Newly Weds Foods, focusing on product development and pilot plant operations. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Food Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Agricultural Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
