Simon Norris

Simon Norris is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer (EMEA) and Chief Information Officer at Mizuho since November 1997. In this role, Simon oversees Operations IT, Regulatory & Finance IT, and Compliance IT as the Deputy CIO, while previously managing corporate systems investments and leading significant departmental changes. Earlier in the career at Mizuho, Simon held various leadership positions including Exec Director and Interim Head of Information Systems. Prior to Mizuho, Simon worked at Nomura Research Institute as IT Delivery Manager and at Speedwing Logica Ltd as an Application Programmer. Simon holds a 2:1 B.Eng Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of York.
