Meng Alireza Tavassoli

Alireza Tavassoli, MEng, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in biomedical and medical device development. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Mizuho OSI since April 2020, Alireza specializes in addressing user needs, translating customer requirements into engineering specifications, and performing risk management activities. Previous roles include Product Development Engineer at Biolux Research, where Alireza focused on light-based orthodontic devices, and R&D Project Engineer at Neovasc Inc., contributing to the design of bio-prosthetic heart valves. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
