Leonel Pascual has a diverse work experience spanning multiple engineering roles and organizations. Leonel began their career as a College Intern at MTA Bridges and Tunnels in 2015 and later joined the NYC Department of Buildings in a similar role in 2017. In 2018, Leonel worked as a Student Assistant at the NYS Office of General Services before transitioning to Jacobs as a Structural Engineer in 2019. Leonel held this position until 2022, gaining valuable experience in the field. Currently, Leonel is working as a Senior Quality Control Engineer at M&J Engineering, P.C.
Leonel Pascual attended The City College of New York from 2010 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering. After completing their undergraduate education, they obtained the certification of Civil Engineer in Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in October 2018. In December 2021, they obtained a certification as a Concrete Construction Special Inspector from the American Concrete Institute. Additionally, in July 2021, they obtained a certification as a Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I (CFTT) from the same institution.
