Tahir Johnson

Tahir Johnson is an accomplished leader in the cannabis industry, currently serving as the CEO of Simply Pure Trenton NJ since March 2022, where the company has received conditional approval for a Class 5 Retail Cannabis License. Johnson is also an Advisory Council Member for MJBiz, the largest B2B cannabis conference, and hosts The Cannabis Diversity Report Podcast to spotlight minority experiences in the industry. As President of the Minority Cannabis Business Association, Johnson advocates for minority access and opportunity in the cannabis sector. Previous roles include Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Arcview Capital, the Marijuana Policy Project, and the US Cannabis Council. Johnson holds a degree from Howard University and a Certificate in Power and Influence for Positive Impact from Harvard Business School Online, along with a Marijuana Master Certificate from Cannabis Training University.
