Brendan Mullen

CEO at MKS2 Technologies

Brendan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MKS2. Prior to the launch, Brendan served as Chief Operating Officer and first employee to Halfaker and Associates, a Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering start-up. Brendan helped the firm grow from one-person to over $12M in products and services with a staff of over 107 employees in less than 3 years.

After graduating from West Point, Brendan served in the US Army for 5 years as a Combat Engineer Officer. He was stationed in Washington, DC serving the President and Vice President as 2nd in command of an Urban Search and Rescue company assigned to the White House and Naval Observatory. Additionally, Brendan was stationed overseas in the Republic of Korea as a Platoon Leader and later deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Military Transition Team member (MiTT), where he earned the Combat Action Badge in 2006.

During his time of service, Brendan volunteered and attended U.S. Army Ranger School but did not graduate, however, he graduated from U.S. Army Airborne School, U.S. Army Air Assault, the U.S. Army Weapons of Mass Destruction Incident Response Course, and U.S. Army Emergency Management Incident Command School.

Brendan holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Brendan was a 4-year member of the Army Football team and 2-year letterman winner.
