Rosanne Liu

Rosanne Liu is a seasoned research scientist with a robust background in machine learning and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind since April 2021, Rosanne is also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of ML Collective. Prior experience includes a tenure at Uber AI as a Senior Research Scientist, where Rosanne was a founding member of Uber AI Labs, and a role as a Machine Learning Researcher at Geometric Intelligence. Rosanne's research ambitions focus on understanding human brain functions to enhance machine learning interpretability and power, particularly through manifold learning. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University, a Master of Science in Machine Learning from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University.
