Grant Harpur

Grant Harpur is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting, control, and project management within the insurance and banking sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Financial Reporting and Control at MLC Life Insurance, Grant has previously held pivotal roles including Finance Projects Contractor at Hollard Insurance and Head of Projects at AIA Australia, where responsibilities included leading critical financial projects. Grant's leadership experience encompasses managing teams at Commonwealth Bank as Executive Manager of Financial Reporting & Control and at Partners Life as General Manager of Finance, in addition to significant roles at BNZ and Sovereign. A strong educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Management Studies from The University of Waikato and a Diploma in Commerce from The University of Auckland.
