Richard Ocken

Richard Ocken has held various leadership roles in the construction industry. Richard served as President at MLJ Contracting, LLC since January 2018. Prior to that, they were Vice President at The LiRo Group from November 2016 to January 2018. Additionally, they held the position of Vice President of Operations at Judlau Contracting, Inc. from September 2004 to November 2016. Richard's career started in the City of New York, where they worked as Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Design and Construction from 1996 to 2004.

Richard Ocken obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Richard then pursued further education at the MIT Sloan School of Management, earning an S.M. degree in Management from 1985 to 1987. During their time at MIT, they focused on Applied Economics, Operations Management, and Management Information Systems.
