Murray McCaig

Murray McCaig is a seasoned venture capital professional and co-founder of ArcTern Ventures, a firm focused on investing in innovative technology companies addressing climate change and sustainability since January 2012. In addition to leading ArcTern Ventures, McCaig serves on the boards of Span.IO, Sheertex, GreenMantra Technologies, Smarter Alloys, and as a board observer for Scythe Robotics and Xeal. McCaig also holds mentorship roles at the Creative Destruction Lab in Toronto and Oxford, and acts as chairperson for MMB Networks and co-chairperson for Butterfield & Robinson Luxury Travel. McCaig's educational background includes an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba.
