Amol Ghode has worked in the software engineering field since 2007. In that time, they have worked for Avaya as a software engineer, Synerzip as a Senior Software Engineer, MobileSpan Inc. (acquired by Dropbox) as a Programmer, ASSERTION as a Development Lead, kPoint Technologies as an Associate Architect, Rocket.Chat as a Senior Backend Engineer (VoIP), and most recently, mmhmm as a Staff Software Engineer. At Avaya, they worked on building a robust cross platform video server for IVVR for a research project of Avaya Labs Research. At Synerzip, they worked on HTML-Office, Quickoffice's HTML based productivity software capable of rendering and editing Microsoft Office documents on the Google Chrome browser. At MobileSpan Inc., they designed and implemented WOPI protocol support on the gateway for viewing/editing office documents using WebApps using Chromium platform. At ASSERTION, they designed and developed a WebRTC based conferencing server with renegotiation on WebSocket and WebRTC clients with audio-video capabilities and chat, file-sharing and scratch pad utility using WebRTC data channel. At kPoint Technologies, they designed and developed a SIP connector that live-streams and records conferences and worked on protocol tuning for interop with Cisco CMS, Polycom RMX, Pexip and BlueJeans conferencing systems. At Rocket.Chat, they worked as a Senior Backend Engineer (VoIP). Finally, at mmhmm, they are a Staff Software Engineer working on an all-in-one platform for making, watching, and talking on videos.
