David Chen

David Chen has over 20 years of work experience in Quality Assurance and Engineering roles. David began their career in 1998 as a QA Engineer at Excite, where they were responsible for managing media testing resources and managing relationships with merchants in the Excite Shopping network. David then moved to Roxio, Inc in 2002 as a QA Engineer, where they tested OEM builds of Roxio Easy CD Creator for all shipping hardware and operating system configurations. In 2004, they joined Friendster as a Manager of Site Quality, where they built and managed the site quality group, expanded the team from zero to 16 direct reports, and created a change control process. In 2009, they joined frog design as a Lead QA Engineer. In 2010, they moved to frog as a Senior Program Manager and Senior Software Engineer, where they built a Mobile Application team covering end to end production of frog and client branded applications. Finally, in 2013 they joined Edmodo as an Engineering Manager Mobile, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the iOS and Android native mobile application teams, delivered entirely new iPad, iPhone and Android versions of the Edmodo app, and worked closely with product, support, marketing, design, QA and engineering team members. In 2022, they joined mmhmm as an Engineering Manager.
