Michael Liu

Michael Liu has an extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael is currently working as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at mmhmm since October 2021. Prior to that, they co-founded and worked at Ondeq, a work platform for distributed field workers, from November 2017 to October 2021.

Before Ondeq, Michael co-founded and served as the CTO at Loop, a lightweight survey and feedback platform for mobile, from November 2012 to July 2017. Michael also co-founded and worked as the CTO at Womobo from January 2008 to February 2012.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at CSC as an Architect and Senior Software Engineer from April 2005 to January 2008. Michael also founded Accina, Inc., a software development consultancy, in June 2001 and worked there until December 2007. At Accina, they worked on various projects including research in object detection software, web applications, data warehouse solutions, flash games, and mobile applications.

Michael Liu attended Stanford University from 1999 to 2003. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a focus on Biology and Computer Science.
