Jay Hickman

Jay Hickman has worked in various roles in the field of public relations since 2004. From 2004 to 2007, they worked as an Account Manager at Stevens|FKM. Following that, they joined Elmore Public Relations as an Account Manager from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they became the Director of Media Relations at Global Communication Works, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Consulting Public Relations Manager at Green Bank. Lastly, Jay worked at MMI Agency as a Public Relations Director from 2011 to the present. In this role, they oversee media relations strategy and execution for clients in various industries, including finance, commercial development, engineering, and entertainment. Jay also manages teams in media research, messaging, writing, editing, event support, and content gathering. Jay is responsible for creating and managing website content, as well as handling release, proposal, and byline article writing/editing. Additionally, Jay is involved in client relations, community relations, social media research, and training.

Jay Hickman received a B.A. degree in Communications from the University of Houston, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned another B.A. degree, this time in Biology, from Rice University, attending from 1990 to 1994. Jay completed their high school education at Mendham High School, although specific dates were not provided for this part of their education.
