Amirah Ashouri

Head Of Global Client Solutions at MMR Research

Amirah Ashouri has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Amirah started their career as a Trainee Sensory Analyst at Tesco PLC in 2012 and worked there until 2014. Amirah then joined Sensory Dimensions as an Industrial Placement Student from 2010 to 2011. In 2014, they joined Leatherhead Food Research as a Sensory & Consumer Scientist and was promoted to Senior Sensory & Consumer Scientist in 2015. In 2016, they transitioned to MMR Research as a Research Manager and worked their way up to Associate Director - Client Engagement (EMEA) until 2021. Amirah then became the Head of Business Development EMEA (Associate Director) until 2022 and subsequently the Head of Business Development EMEA (Director) until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Global Client Solutions at MMR Research. In addition to their roles at MMR Research, they also worked at Cubo Innovation as the Director of Commercial Innovation from 2020 to 2020.

Amirah Ashouri completed their education in the field of Food Science. Amirah first attended the University of Reading from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Nutrition and Food Science. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Nottingham from 2013 to 2017. There, they completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Sensory Science with a specialization in Food Bioscience. Additionally, in 2012, Amirah earned an Intermediate Certificate in Sensory Science from the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST).
