Les Schneider has served as the Chief of Police for the Danube Police Department since June 1993, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to law enforcement. Alongside this role, Les has worked as a Police Officer at the Minnesota State Fair since August 2011 and has been involved as a Youth Sports Official for Various Leagues since June 1983. Additionally, Les has taken on responsibilities as a Water and Wastewater Operator for the City of Danube since January 2006 and has been a School Bus Driver and Youth Sports Coach at Renville County West School since September 1993. In the medical and emergency services field, Les has contributed as the First Response Director for the Danube Medical Response Unit and as a Firefighter for the Danube Fire Department, both roles held since November 1989. Educationally, Les holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and Public Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato, along with an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from Ridgewater College and completion of a Police Skills Program at Alexandria Technical and Community College.
