Marit Brock has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Marit started their career as a Human Resources Manager at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center in 1997. Marit then moved on to MNGI Digestive Health, where they held multiple roles including Director of Human Resources, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Chief Performance Officer. In these positions, they led governance restructuring, implemented performance measurement programs, revamped marketing strategies, and developed incentive programs. Marit Brock's work experience spans over two decades and demonstrates their expertise in human resources, healthcare management, and strategic planning.

Marit Brock holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from the University of Minnesota. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. Marit became a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) in 2001. Marit also holds a Certification as a Board Certified through the American College of Medical Practice Executives (CMPE) from the American College of Medical Practice Executives, obtained in September 2009. Marit is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality, obtained in June 2018. Most recently, in August 2022, they obtained the title of Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives from MMGMA - Minnesota Medical Group Management Association.
