Sirilah Raman

Sirilah Raman, MBA, CBCP has a strong background in business continuity management (BCM) and risk management. Their most recent role was as the Head of Business Continuity Management at MNRB Group since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as AVP, BCM & Outsourcing Risk at Maybank from May 2018 to June 2022. Sirilah also had experience in BCM at Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd as AVP, Group Risk Management from May 2012 to April 2018. They have expertise in coordinating and monitoring BCM programs, as well as designing and documenting business continuity plans. From May 2009 to May 2012, Sirilah worked as a Business Continuity Coordinator at eGenting, where they provided specialized skills in BCM, project management, and communication strategies.

Sirilah Raman holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Sirilah also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business from the same university in 2021. Earlier, they earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in International Business from the University of East London between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Institute of Administrative Management (InsAM), UK, from 2003 to 2005. Their education history also includes a Diploma in Administrative Management (IAM) from Raffles Education Group (Olympia College) in 2002. In terms of certifications, they are a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI International, which they obtained in 2021. Sirilah also holds additional certifications in Advanced Operational Risk Management from PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers’ International Association, Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) from DRI International, and BCCS from the Business Continuity Management Institute, BCM Institute.
