Steve Filatro

Steve Filatro is a seasoned animation professional with extensive experience in both the entertainment and education sectors. Currently serving as Lead Animator at Mob Entertainment since March 2024, previous roles include Senior Animator at Oxide Games and Animator at Lost Boys Interactive, where responsibilities encompassed gameplay animation, interactive objects, and motion capture direction. Steve also contributed to education as an educator for grades K-8 at the NYC Department of Education for almost two decades. In addition, a brief stint as a Creative Director resulted in the creation of the short animated series "The Ruggerio's." Earlier in their career, Steve held positions such as Animation Supervisor at Whirligig Animation Studios and worked in EFX and character animation at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Steve completed education at the School of Visual Arts.
