David Recio

David Recio has a diverse work experience that includes roles in software engineering, independent research in machine learning, and a visiting assistant professor position. David started working as a software engineer at Mobi Systems in 2023. Prior to that, from 2021 to 2023, they engaged in independent research focused on machine learning, statistics, and programming. Their research projects included assessing language proficiency using ML and sentiment analysis with podcast reviews. From 2018 to 2021, David worked as a visiting assistant professor at Lehigh University, where they conducted research on topological robotics, delivered invited talks at prestigious institutions, and published six mathematics papers.

David Recio completed their education in a chronological manner. David first attended The University of Göttingen from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics. David then continued their studies at the same university from 2011 to 2013 and earned another Bachelor of Science degree, this time in Mathematics.

In 2013, David pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics at The University of Göttingen, which they completed in 2015. Later, from 2015 to 2018, they attended the University of Aberdeen, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mathematics.
