Dominic Wackrow has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Graduate Analyst at the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) from February 2015 to November 2015. Dominic then went on to work as an Analyst in Forecasting and Policy Costing at MSD from November 2015 to March 2017.

Following this, Dominic joined Trade Me Property as an Insights Analyst from April 2017 to September 2018. Dominic then progressed to the role of Senior Insights Analyst from September 2018 to March 2020. Dominic's final role at Trade Me Property was as a Lead Insights Analyst from March 2020 to June 2020.

After leaving Trade Me Property, Dominic joined Trade Me as an Analytics & Insights Manager from July 2020 to November 2020.

Dominic then moved to MOBI, where they held the position of Data Lead from December 2020 to July 2022. Dominic was responsible for implementing a Snowflake data warehouse using Matillion for ETL and data transformation. Dominic also managed Power BI reports for internal corporate use and facilitated customer-facing analytics through Power BI embedded.

Currently, Dominic holds the position of Director of Data and Analytics at MOBI starting from July 2022. In this role, they have engineered a Python-based machine learning recommendation service using the FastAPI web framework to boost food sales.

Dominic Wackrow attended The University of Waikato from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Masters of Management Studies degree with a double degree in BSocSc/BSc, focusing on Economics and Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended De La Salle College from 2001 to 2008. In addition, Dominic has obtained several certifications in Machine Learning through Coursera, including Machine Learning: Classification, Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach, and Machine Learning: Regression.
