Greenhouse gases
We say 'greenhouse gases' when we really just mean 'carbon dioxide'. Although carbon dioxide (CO2) accounts for 75% of all GHGs, we ignore the other gases at our peril. They can live far longer in our atmosphere than CO2, and be thousands of times more potent. Known as super greenhouse gases, our use of electronic and electricals is directly responsible for their impact on our biosphere.
