At M2 Anesthesia, we specialize in general anesthesia for pediatric dental patients and an excellent quality of life for our team members. 

Position Summary: The Clinical Assistant at M2 Anesthesia supports anesthesia providers in delivering high-quality care in various clinical settings. This role involves assisting with clinical care before, during, and after anesthesia administration, managing equipment logistics, and maintaining inventory. The Clinical Assistant ensures smooth operational processes and compliance with regulatory standards at clinic sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Support:
    • Assist anesthesia providers with clinical care tasks pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Equipment Management:
    • Transport anesthesia equipment to and from scheduled clinic sites.
    • Set up and break down equipment efficiently and safely to support clinic operations.
  • Supply Management:
    • Stock and re-stock supplies within anesthesia teams and maintain drug boxes at clinic sites to ensure readiness for procedures.
    • Complete inventory sheets for assigned teams and clinics, and submit inventory requests to the Lead Dental Anesthesia Assistant (Lead DAA). 
    • Check in received inventory and provide all related purchase orders and receipts to the Lead DAA. 
  • Inventory Reconciliation:
    • Assist with inventory reconciliations for anesthesia teams at clinic sites or the main office hub to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Facility Management:
    • Complete facility checklists for both new and existing clinics.
    • Address follow-up items to ensure all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Operational Support:
    • Serve as a “site champion” to handle day-to-day operational issues, ensuring quality compliance and adherence to state regulations.
    • Communicate and report directly to the Lead DAA for guidance and coordination.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with medical staff and operations teams.
  • Understanding of clinical care processes and equipment handling.
  • Ability to comply with quality standards and state regulations.

Reporting Structure:

  • The Clinical Assistant reports directly to the Lead DAA, ensuring clear lines of communication and efficient operational management.
