Rick Hamblet

Rick Hamblet is a seasoned professional in education and military operations, currently serving as the Senior Naval Science Instructor at Mobile County Public School System since July 2023. Prior experience includes teaching Career Technical Education at Round Rock ISD and multiple positions as a Senior Naval Science Instructor in various school districts. Hamblet has an extensive background in the U.S. Coast Guard, holding key leadership roles such as Chief of Aircraft Platforms Division, Chief of Aviation Operations, and Search and Rescue Pilot, demonstrating expertise in program management, strategic planning, and training program development. Hamblet holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from American Military University and several certifications related to aviation safety and leadership. Educational credentials also include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the United States Coast Guard Academy.
