Joe Mattley

Joe Mattley has extensive work experience in the field of product design and engineering. Joe began their career in 2010 as a Product Designer at Evolution Power Tools, where they gained valuable skills in various design tasks such as product research, concept sketch work, CAD modeling, and rapid prototyping.

In 2011, Joe joined AESSEAL as a Product Development Engineer, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they focused on the development of new products and contributed to the company's innovation efforts.

In 2013, Joe joined Xeros Technology Group plc as a Design Engineer and later advanced to the position of Senior Design Engineer in 2019. Joe played a significant role in the design and development of various products, showcasing their expertise in the field.

Currently, Joe is working at Mobile Power as a Senior Product Design Engineer, a position they have held since 2023. Their responsibilities in this role include leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful development and launch of innovative products.

Throughout their career, Joe has consistently demonstrated their passion for design and engineering, continually improving their skills and making valuable contributions to the organizations they have worked for.

Joe Mattley attended Ashby School from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued A Levels in Engineering, English, Computing, and Fine Art. Joe then went on to study at Sheffield Hallam University from 2007 to 2011, earning a 1st Class MDes degree in Product Design. In March 2018, they obtained the certification of Chartered Engineer (CEng) from The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
