Jj Nicholas

JJ Nicholas is a skilled broadcast engineer with extensive experience in mobile unit operations and event coverage. Currently serving as the Mobile Unit Engineer at Mobile TV Group since September 2021, JJ oversees a 53-foot 'Double Expando' SDI Digital Mobile Unit, leading broadcast engineering efforts at remote events. Previous roles include Staff Photographer at SXSW, where event coverage spanned multiple festivals and conferences, and Systems Integration at Texolve Digital Inc., focused on the installation and operation of broadcasting equipment. Additional experience includes Studio Technician at Point Park University, Assistant Video Engineer at FOX Sports, and Production Utility at ESPN. JJ holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising & Broadcast Journalism from West Virginia University, earned in 2011.
