Günther Deforche

Günther Deforche has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Günther started their career as a System Administrator at Roularta IT Solutions, where they were responsible for maintaining and setting up Macintosh hardware and software. Günther then joined Roularta Media Group as a System Administrator, focusing on prepress projects and automation.

In 2008, Günther moved to EnergyICT, where they worked as an IT System Administrator and Service Engineer. Günther was responsible for installing and maintaining customer servers, including application servers, virtualized servers, and Oracle Database servers. Günther also performed internal network maintenance.

After that, Günther joined Hexios as a Chief Operating Officer and IT Systems Consultant. Their role involved managing networks, servers, and infrastructure for various IT projects, including cloud hosting, data center services, hosted Citrix solutions, and VoIP services.

In 2016, Günther briefly worked as a Senior System Engineer at denk IT, before joining SIGOS as an Information Technology System Specialist. At SIGOS, they were part of the Belgium IT systems administrator team, responsible for managing office, private data center, and cloud systems.

In 2017, Günther became the Owner of Bitbull bvba, an IT consultancy company that provided tailor-made solutions and services to SMB companies. Their expertise included IT consultancy, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, virtualization, enterprise storage solutions, networking and security, Citrix, IT platform monitoring, and VoIP.

Most recently, Günther joined Mobileum as an Information Technology System Specialist, following the acquisition of SIGOS by Mobileum. Günther played a key role in the successful integration of the IT systems and ensuring business continuity.

Günther Deforche graduated from Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen - Vlaamse Autonome Hogeschool from 1998 to 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Communication Technology. Prior to that, they attended VTI Roeselare from 1991 to 1998, where they obtained an A2 degree in Electrical/Electronics with a specialization in Control Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Günther Deforche received a certification as a VMware Certified Professional in October 2014.
