Tim Hensley

Tim Hensley, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of revenue accounting. In 2004, they served as a Senior Revenue Manager at Peoplesoft, where they analyzed financial reports and investigated discrepancies in international revenue data. Tim also ensured the accuracy of sub-ledger reconciliations and recorded financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.

From 2005 to 2010, Tim worked as a Senior Revenue Manager at Cisco, where they reviewed customer contracts for revenue recognition issues and provided guidance on complex revenue matters. Tim also played a key role in Cisco's Sarbanes/Oxley compliance efforts.

In 2010, Tim became the Revenue Accounting Manager at HGST, a Western Digital company. In this role, they integrated into the company's worldwide revenue processes, reviewed operations and contracts for revenue concerns, and took a lead role in the Risk of Loss and Future Billing Adjustment processes.

In 2015, Tim joined Resources Global Professionals as a Senior Consultant, where they provided expertise in revenue accounting.

From 2016 to 2020, they worked at MetricStream as a Director of Revenue. Tim collaborated with various departments to structure and develop customized complex governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions deals. Tim also researched and developed technical revenue accounting memos for software and managed services offerings, and provided contract and deal reviews.

Most recently, starting in 2020, Tim holds the position of Director of Revenue at Mobileum.

Tim Hensley, CPA obtained an MBA from San Jose State University between 1996 and 2001, with a focus on Business. Tim also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the state of California.
