Kajanan S.

Kajanan S. has held various positions in the field of data science and software engineering since 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Trainee Software Engineer at IFS, followed by a position as a Software Engineer at IFS R&D International PVT LTD from 2008 to 2010. During this time, they designed and implemented a recruitment system for IFS internal use. From 2010 to 2012, Kajanan S. was a Graduate Teaching Assistant (Part Time) and a PhD Student at the National University of Singapore. Afterward, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Mobilewalla from 2012 to 2014. Kajanan then worked as a Data Scientist - Living Analytics at Singtel from 2014 to 2015, followed by a Senior Data Scientist - DataSpark at DataSpark Pte Ltd from 2015 to 2017. Since 2017, Kajanan S. has held the role of Head of Data Science and Senior Data Scientist at Mobilewalla.

Kajanan S. completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Data Mining & Information Extraction from the National University of Singapore between 2010 and 2015. Kajanan obtained their BSc IT (Hons) 1st Class from the University of Moratuwa between 2004 and 2008, and was qualified to University in the Science - Engineering Stream from Jaffna Hindu College between 1994 and 2003. In addition, Kajanan S. has obtained two certifications, an Oracle Ceritified P/L SQL Developer Associate from Oracle in October 2009 and a Sun Certified Java Developer from Sun Microsystems in August 2007.
