Omer Taran

Omer Taran has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Omer began their career as an information security consultant at Ness in 2000 and later worked as a Senior Information Security Consultant & Account Manager at Avnet Information Security & Risk Management, where they managed major accounts, developed training programs, and led the company's CISO training program curriculum. Omer then joined Cyber-Ark as a Regional Sales Engineer, where they managed accounts, developed custom training programs, and designed product-based solutions for global enterprises. As a self-employed consultant, they provided their expertise to clients before joining the National Information Security Authority as an Employee L&D Manager. In this role, they managed the agency's training budget, developed simulation-driven trainings, and implemented a mentoring program for new employees. Omer also worked at CyberGym as the Head of Training Development and played a key role in mobilizing relevant partnerships and knowledge to grow the business. Omer'smost recent role was as the CTO & Co-Founder at CybeReady, where they successfully led the product, secured enterprise customers, and managed all aspects of startup development. Currently, Omer serves as the Director of Product at Mobilicom.

Omer Taran holds a Master's Degree in Sociology of Education from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which they obtained from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA in Organizational Consulting and HR from The College of Management Academic Studies from 2004 to 2006. Omer'seducational background also includes a Bachelor's degree in Business and Sociology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, earned from 1998 to 2001.
