Liesbet Groffils has extensive experience in education and public sector consulting. Currently serving as a secondary education teacher at Broederscholen Hiëronymus since August 2019, Liesbet teaches Dutch, history, and geography. Additionally, Liesbet has worked as a public sector expert for Möbius Business Redesign since February 2016, contributing expertise in e-government and local governance. Prior roles include substitute teacher at Emmaüs Secundair Aalter, consultant at Cipal DV focusing on policy support and local government enhancement, and research positions at Ghent University and Hogeschool Gent. Liesbet's career began as a leisure coordinator for the municipal government of Merelbeke and as a cultural officer for the Vlaamse Gemeenschapscommissie. Educationally, Liesbet holds a master's degree in Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and a teaching qualification from PCVO Diepenbeek.
