Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Watch Officer. 

intelligence support to the MDA Executives, Program Elements, and other Agency two letter organizations, which includes: meetings, one-on-one discussions, briefings and other daily interactions with senior leaders, Program Elements, and other MDA two letter organizations; preparation and delivery of daily intelligence products to include an SCI-level Daily Read Book at the Headquarters (HQs); interacting with senior IC leaders and analysts to coordinate and acquire information and then provide quick or immediate responses to queries from senior leadership; and responding to requests for information (RFIs) and supporting the development of all Intelligence Division Current Intelligence products.

In addition, the MDA Intelligence Watch Center (IWC), in Colorado Springs (COS), provides 24/7 intelligence support to MDA Senior Leadership, interfaces with the MDA Operations Support Center, and coordinates with the Combatant Commands (CCMDs), IC, and the Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC-IMD).

This 24/7 support pertains to matters relating to real-world ballistic missile threat developments, integrated Missile Defense, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, and Space.

Duties of a Watch Officer may include: 

  • Intelligence Analysts shall perform technical intelligence analyses; develop and deliver special studies, briefings, papers, executive correspondence, and reports; and interact with IC senior leaders and analysts to acquire the intelligence required to respond to RFIs and inquiries from across MDA.
  • The analysts shall research, write, and publish daily, weekly, and monthly current intelligence products for distribution to MDA customers.
  • Each duty day, the contractor shall develop and deliver the Director’s Daily Intelligence Read Book to all four duty locations at a locally specified time (No Later Than (NLT) 0730 Eastern Time for HQ and DHL). The contractor shall author, deliver and present reports and briefings to the MDA Senior leadership 24/7, including the Program Elements, during periods of heightened national interest.
  • The contractor shall identify and post relevant content to the Missile Intelligence Secure Link (MISL) portal site.
  • The contractor shall produce ad hoc threat topic intelligence documents such as reports, white papers, technical data, briefings, and assessments.
  • The contractor shall plan and organize meetings, conferences and symposia, as directed by Intelligence Division Government staff.

Requirements: 

  • 6-10 years’ experience in intelligence analysis and/or CCMD/IC/MDA watch center and operations support
  • Will be trained as watchstanders and will regularly or primarily man the 24/7 Intelligence Watch
  • Experience with Missile Defense Agency or Ballistic Missile Defense Systems

Education Requirement

  • Degree in relevant field such as history, political science, sociology, or other social science field

Clearance Requirement

  • Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Colorado Pay Range
$75,000$100,000 USD
