Sankar Sundaram has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Sankar began their career at IBT Asia Pvt. Ltd as a Software Developer, where they analyzed requirements and developed applications using Microsoft Technologies. Sankar then moved on to Total Systems Pvt. Ltd, where they served as a Software Consultant, working on software development and implementation for clients such as Sony Precision Engineering in Singapore. Sankar then joined Alden Prepress Services as a GTD Manager, where they worked on the Alden Rendering Tool, serving as a software consultant and implementing solutions for electronic manufacturing units. Sankar continued in a similar role at Alden Multimedia and Alden Pre Press Limited.

In 2002, Sankar joined GISbiz, Inc. as the Chief Software Designer and Configuration Manager, where they led the development of the Enterprise Web application "Integrated Right-of-way Information Network (IRWIN)" for Nevada DOT. This application integrated disparate systems and databases, including an Oracle database, document management system, video logging, and GIS.

Sankar went on to work at Alden Prepress Services Pvt Ltd as the GTD Manager before joining GISbiz as the VP of Technology. In this role, they oversaw technology operations for the company. Sankar later joined Mobius Knowledge Services as the Head of the Technology Services Group.

Throughout their career, Sankar has demonstrated expertise in software development, implementation, and management, as well as a strong focus on meeting client requirements and developing solutions using various technologies.

Sankar Sundaram attended Bharathidasan University from 1992 to 1995 and obtained a degree in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with a field of study in Computer Application. Later, from 1992 to 1996, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology and Computer Applications, also at Bharathidasan University. Additionally, they completed a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management at the same university, although the specific start and end years for this degree are not provided.
