Hicham Badri has been involved in the tech industry since 2012. Hicham began their career as a Research Internship at Inria, followed by a Research Assistant role at the same company. In 2014, they took on a Teaching Assistant role at Université de Bordeaux. In 2016, they became a Software Engineer at Visual Meta GmbH and a year later, they were hired as a Computer Vision Engineer at EyeEm. In 2018, they joined Mobius Labs GmbH as a Co-Founder and Principal Research Scientist, focusing on computer vision/machine learning on edge devices, active learning/automated labeling, and few-shot/zero-shot learning.
Hicham Badri obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Vision/Optimization from Université de Bordeaux between 2012 and 2015. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Fundamentals of Management from UC Irvine in October 2015, Entrepreneurship 101: Who is your customer? from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in April 2015, University Teaching 101 from Johns Hopkins University in May 2014, and Intellectual Property from World Intellectual Property Organization in April 2014.
