Lou Schwartz

Dr. Schwartz, a board-certified Ophthalmologist, is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and specializes in the treatment of Glaucoma. He has published a book: LASER THERAPY OF THE ANTERIOR SEGMENT, as well as several book chapters and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Schwartz has lectured extensively to fellow physicians locally, nationally, and internationally. He is an Emeritus Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson University and an Emeritus Attending Surgeon on the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Hospital where he is active in teaching residents. Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
