Who Are We Looking For?

Mobiz seeks to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to the team. This candidate is responsible for using their knowledge of software programs, applications, and business strategies, to help Mobiz improve productivity and communication. Their duties can include working with management and clients to determine their needs, coordinating with IT professionals, and to create value across the client experience. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be proficient in the English language through written and verbal communication skills. The engineer is required to communicate with team members at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and manage manual and automated testing scripts in ServiceNow using Automated Testing Framework (ATF)

  • Ability to design, implement and validate new scripts, manage and update existing scripts, and review scripts for and by third party clients and vendors

  • Review and plan test cases, and complete testing in a timely manner to minimize defects prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Interact with the Project and ServiceNow teams to report, document, and track defects in ServiceNow/Jira and ensure timely resolution.

  • Assist with executing tests of ServiceNow defects, enhancements and scoped applications prior to and after version release dates.

  • Write test cases and assist with building a regression testing library.

  • Organize, schedule, and execute regression tests as needed.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability, quality of life features and functionality.

  • Ability to manage assigned tasks, projects, documentation, maintain milestones, and work with peers and supervisors effectively.

  • Ability to clearly communicate, effectively follow up with team members, and oversee many projects at once.

  • Document new software enhancements and procedures from a testing perspective as applicable.

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospective.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of IT Quality Assurance experience.

  • 2+ years of ServiceNow IT Quality Assurance experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 suite and Selenium

  • Strong technical and software skills.

  • Experience in cross-browser testing.

  • Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Postman and project management software.

Skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain functional and technical documentation

  • Experience with Cloud, DevOps and Virtualization is highly desirable

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Possesses and displays sound judgment, initiative and flexibility

  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and rapidly changing environments

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed environments

  • Ability to support interfaces with multiple systems

  • Strong familiarity and experience with MS Office Suite

  • Familiar with SDLC, Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies; familiarity with Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

  • Experience in a scrum master role a plus

  • Familiarity with software development
