Julie Peacock is currently a Customer Success Manager at Mobot. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Engineer at First Derivatives from September 2017 to March 2019.
During their time at First Derivatives, Julie worked in an agile environment as a UAT tester for MiFID II Transaction and Post Trade reporting. This involved building automation tools in excel, tracking and testing defects in HP ALM, and understanding the MiFID II trade reporting logic for each of the 56 fields in addition to the 20 UnaVista fields. This culminated with bulding and maintaining reconciliation tools in excel to facilitate overreporting and underreporting analysis, and to be the main point of contact between the project managers and the external reconciliation team in order to verify the reconciliation team’s reports.
Following the completion of testing duties for Transaction Reporting and Post Trade Reporting, Julie was assigned to a feature team for Top 5 Venue reporting and for Quality of Execution Reporting. This role involved taking each of the required asset classes from raw data to generated reports, determining requirements for in scope and out of scope trade events/products/venues based on the BRD and RTS 27/28, and subsequently testing to make sure that the Kx code appropriately followed the requirements.
