Douglas Salkin

Douglas Salkin has extensive experience in the post-production industry. Douglas started their career as a freelance associate producer, working on approximately 50 films. Douglas then worked as a post consultant for the Motion Picture Bond Company, where they provided support to projects that were behind schedule and over budget. Salkin also founded their own digital film company, Digital Film Labs, which specialized in digital optical effects, visual effects, and graphics. In their role as owner/principal, they oversaw all sales and producing responsibilities. Later, they joined Mojo, a theatrical marketing agency, as the Vice President of post production. There, they oversaw the finishing department and post production facility, managing the completion of numerous theatrical and TV marketing campaigns for blockbuster films. Salkin then joined Mob Scene Creative + Productions as the Vice President of post production, leading the finishing department and overseeing the completion of original theatrical and TV campaigns for top-grossing films. Currently, they work at MOCEAN as the Senior Vice President of post production, directing and heading the finishing department and post production facility to produce trailers for major Hollywood feature films and series. Douglas collaborates across all departments to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance communication.

Douglas Salkin attended San Francisco State University from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Film Production.
