Shane Saunders

Shane Saunders has extensive experience in the financial industry, starting with their role as an Investment Representative at SunTrust Investment Services in 1994. Shane then transitioned to various marketing positions, including Marketing Manager at Lynch Systems, Florida State University Credit Union, Financial Partners Credit Union, and Rockwell Federal. In 2002, they became the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Pacific Oaks Federal Credit Union.

In 2014, Saunders joined Maps Credit Union as the Chief Experience Officer, where they led a division responsible for Operations, Marketing, PR, Human Resources, Training, Community Outreach, Payments and Digital Strategies, Business Intelligence, Insurance, and Investments. Shane successfully managed a high-performing team and achieved measurable results.

Saunders further expanded their leadership roles in 2013 when they became a Board Member and later the President of the Board of Directors at Ventura County Community Development Corporation, where they played a crucial role in affordable housing initiatives.

Shane'smost recent role is as the President and CEO of Mocse Credit Union, which they assumed in 2020. Overall, Saunders has a diverse background in marketing and financial services, with a strong focus on leadership and delivering results.

Shane Saunders obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Multinational Business from the College of Business at Florida State University, which they attended from 1992 to 1995. Later, from 1999 to 2002, they pursued an MBA degree with a Finance emphasis at the College of Business of the same university. Lastly, they completed another MBA degree in Business from Florida State University from 1992 to 2001.
