Lori Garavartanian is an experienced event and resource coordinator, sports writer, and advocate for commuter students at UCLA, where Lori is pursuing Bachelor of Arts degrees in Applied Linguistics and Political Science. Currently serving as an Event and Resource Coordinator for Legal Connection, Lori organizes pre-law events and develops presentation materials on legal topics. As a sports writer for the Daily Bruin, Lori covers UCLA athletic events and highlights student athletes' experiences. Additional roles include serving as a Legislative Affairs Intern for Governor Gavin Newsom, a Commuter Support and Programs Engagement Intern, and a committee chair for Model United Nations at UCLA. Lori also works as a Student Marketing Ambassador for Celsius and coaches young Armenian children with special needs through Homenetmen HRASHQ.

Model United Nations at UCLA provides a forum for discussion of international relations and events through dynamic and academic simulation of the United Nations. We host two major Model UN conferences annually, and provide opportunities for members to travel nationally and internationally to compete in collegiate MUN conferences.
